Ariana Grande and her ex-husband Dalton Gomez have officially finalized their divorce. According to AP News, the divorce became official on Tuesday, six months after Grande filed to end her marriage to Dalton.

Ariana Grande, Dalton Gomez Finalize Divorce

AP News reports that Grande and Dalton’s marriage was officially dissolved in Los Angeles on Tuesday, less than three years after they first tied the knot in May 2021. According to court documents, the couple separated over a year ago.

The divorce was able to move quickly through the system since Grande and Dalton apparently had a pre-nuptial agreement, and they have no kids together. They reportedly agreed upon the terms of their settlement in October of last year.

Grande will make a one-time payment of $1.25 million to Gomez, without having to pay alimony to him in the future. She will also reportedly give him half of the proceeds from the sale of their home in Los Angeles, as well as up to $25,000 for his attorney fees.

The Couple Tied the Knot in 2021

Grande started dating Gomez, a real estate broker, in January 2020. The couple ended up quarantining together in the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic, and they announced they were engaged in December of that year.

The pair tied the knot in May 2021, in a small ceremony at Grande’s home in Montecito, California. Grande filed for divorce in September of last year. She is currently rumored to be dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, who filed for divorce from his wife Lilly Jay in July.

Grande recently released her seventh studio album, titled Eternal Sunshine, featuring the singles “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love).” To promote the project, she was the musical guest on Saturday Night Live earlier this month.
